Japanese Pagoda

This project is a representation of Zen, shown in a Japanese pond garden. Oftentimes, Zen is associated with “calm” and “relax” to regain clarity over the mind, body, and soul. The pond water and decorations add an element of activity and motion, showing that not all tranquil meditation means to be stagnant. The manifestations and progressive development of achieving Zen is represented by the Sakura tree encapsulated in a glass pagoda, the centerpiece of the work.
